Position: Senior UI Engineer
Experince: 5 to 15 Years
Job Location: Hinjewadi, Pune
Working days: Monday to Friday
Time: 1 PM – 10 PM IST
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UI Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior UI Engineer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our data lifecycle and reporting product, catering to the needs of hedge funds and the finance sector. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in JavaScript and Angular, as well as a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement user interfaces using JavaScript and Angular frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand requirements and translate them into well-designed UI solutions.
- Design and create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on UI designs.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate UI components with the backend infrastructure.
- Ensure the responsiveness and compatibility of UI across various platforms and devices.
- Actively participate in daily standup calls, providing updates on progress and discussing potential roadblocks or challenges.
- Collaborate with the team in the development and implementation of new features and enhancements.
- Engage in problem-solving and troubleshooting to resolve UI-related issues.
- Perform code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to UI development.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Angular frameworks.
- Proven experience in developing UI solutions.
- Excellent understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Solid experience with version control systems like Bitbucket and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like TeamCity and Octopus.
- Experience working with C# and relational databases, specifically Azure SQL.â
- Familiarity with data lifecycle, reporting, calculations, aggregations, and data entry concepts.
- Aesthetic sense and ability to create visually appealing interfaces without a dedicated designer.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Open-minded and open to new ideas and technologies.
- Ability to attend daily standup calls and actively participate in team discussions.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously..
- Demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and efficiency in all assigned tasks.
- Prior experience in the finance sector or working on financial products is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
