Database Administrator for Ahmedabad

Designation – Database Administrator


Responsibilities:
• Design, configure, and maintain the company’s database systems, including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Monitor database performance and optimize for maximum efficiency and reliability.
• Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks, data corruption, and replication problems.
• Create and maintain documentation of database policies, procedures, and processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schemas.

Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) in Oracle environments.
• Strong knowledge of database administration and management best practices.
• Knowledge of Mongo DB is preferred.
• Experience in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with database security and backup procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is a plus.
• Proven work experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) in Oracle environments.
• Strong knowledge of database administration and management best practices.
• Experience in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with database security and backup procedures.
• Familiar with oracle 11/12/19
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
