Buyer Acquisition Assistant – Ecommerce (01) Number
The Acquisition Marketing Specialist (reporting to the Head of New Buyer Acquisition) is responsible for getting new users to buy on and is the owner of the following sets of levers
Marketing Communication: Conceptualization, Ideation, Creation, Operations and Analytics/MIS for the following mediums: Onsite Marketing, Internet Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Direct Mailers
Coupons and discount vouchers: Ideation, Creation, Operations and ROI sensitivity
•    Managing Onsite and Direct Marketing  which involves:
o    Optimizing, Tracking, Monitoring & Reporting for all onsite creative, landing pages, mailers and all external communication like on Facebook and other social media
o    End to end ownership of discount coupons creation, usage, and MIS
o    Onsite Deals merchandising. Procurement  of the right products in conjunction with Supply team
o    Partner agreements & Payments / Invoicing

•    Managing our Media campaigns (Portals, Search, Social Media)
o    Managing our relationship with external partners and planning and executing to our media plans
o    Optimizing our Keyword portfolio on Search Engine Marketing Networks to maximize conversions

•    Working with various global teams to ensure best practices are shared
•     Ensuring all contractual and operational needs are looked after properly, and in time
Expectations from the candidate
1.    Experience required:
•    2-3 years of work experience, preferably in the Internet industry [ eCommerce, Travel, Classifieds, Gifting Sites, Portals]
•    Very strong end-user communication skills
•    Good design/aesthetic sensibilities, as the job involves a significant amount of interaction with creative designers
•    Experience of having managed onsite/direct marketing campaigns and interacted with traditional and non-traditional media channels is an advantage

2.    Technical skills:
•    Ability to understand and interpret data
•    Ability to make sound business judgement in the absence of complete data
•    Very strong written (end user) Communication skills
•    Proficient in usage of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
•    Internet Tools knowledge (DoubleClick, MediaPlex, SiteCatalyst etc) a plus

3.    Qualifications:
•    Degree, preferably with some math courses as part of the curriculum, as the job requires data interpretation skills. An MBA, with a Marketing background , will be a big plus
•    Background in communication (English / content writing /communication qualifications/diplomas) is a significant plus

•    Ability to make decisions independently/propensity to make calculated risks
•    A sense of humour. Ability to mix with people
