Network Engineer with one of the leading product company- Mumbai

Role: Network Engineer
CTC: ₹25 – ₹30 LPA
Location: Airoli, Mumbai
Work Mode: 5 Days Work from Office

Experience:

• 8–15 years of hands-on enterprise networking experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years specializing in Juniper firewalls (SRX1500 or equivalent SRX series).

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years hands-on enterprise networking, with at least 3 to 5years specialising in Juniper firewalls (preferably SRX1500 or similar SRX series).
• Technical mastery: Expert knowledge of Junos OS, security zones, policies, application-layer gateways, UTM/IDP, and IPSec/IKE v1/v2 VPN design and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switching (VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP, QoS, dot1x).
• Strong routing skills (BGP, OSPF, route-maps, policy-based routing) and IPv6 familiarity.
• Deep understanding of network-security concepts: firewalling, segmentation, DDoS mitigation, PKI, and SSL/TLS inspection.
• Security focus: Demonstrated experience applying ISO 27001 / NIST / CIS controls, vulnerability management, and incident response in production
• Automation & scripting: Ability to script and automate network tasks (Python/pyEZ, Ansible, or Terraform) and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Tools: Hands-on with packet capture (Wireshark), logging/SIEM (e.g., Splunk, Elastic), and monitoring (Zabbix, Grafana, or equivalent).
• Soft skills: Excellent documentation, stakeholder communication, and mentoring abilities; comfortable leading technical discussions under pressure.
• Certifications (preferred): JNCIP-SEC or JNCIE-SEC, CCNP Enterprise/Security, CISSP or GIAC GSEC.
• Work style: Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a 24×7 mission-critical environment.
