{"id":557,"date":"2016-07-02T12:44:32","date_gmt":"2016-07-02T07:14:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.2softsolutions.com\/blogs\/?p=557"},"modified":"2025-07-28T13:51:12","modified_gmt":"2025-07-28T08:21:12","slug":"ms-sql-dba-at-andheri","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.2softsolutions.com\/blogs\/ms-sql-dba-at-andheri\/","title":{"rendered":"MS SQL DBA at Andheri"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Position : MS SQL DBA<br \/>\nExps: 8yrs +<br \/>\nLocation: MIDC, Andheri<\/p>\n<p>Job Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BE or BS Degree in one of the following<\/li>\n<li>g subject areas: Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred.8+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience required<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience in Database Administration in SQL Server ( 2008 and 2012 )<\/li>\n<li>Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I\/O, disk space and other resource contention.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct research and make recommendations on database products, services, protocols and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor, optimize and allocate physical data storage for database systems.<\/li>\n<li>Manage versioning and objects related to the database in TFS.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication.<\/li>\n<li>Expert experience in implementing operational automation.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of how indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of SQL Server tools ( Profiler, DTA, SSMS, SSCM, PerfMon, DMVs, system sprocs)<\/li>\n<li>SQL Development &#8211;
