\n1. B.E. \/ B.Tech \/ MCA \/ B.Sc (Computer Science \/ IT)
\n2. Working knowledge of database configuration \/ administration on open source platform
\n3. Min Work Exp. 4 years<\/p>\n
\n1. Should be experienced in installing, configuring & managing relational databases \/ DB servers like MySql \/ PostgreSQL etc.
\n2. Will perform functions like configuring replication, schedule backups, administer users & access on the databases.
\n3. Will work with developers in encrypting the data elements \/ databases as defined by the software requirements.
\n4. Will ensure high-availability & high-security of the servers.
\n5. Will work with developers both for developing queries as well as with performance tuning.
\n6. Will install updates to the DB Server as and when required.
\n7. Deploy database change scripts to all environments as provided by the development team.
\n8. Should keep management \/ supervisors updated with progress of work assigned.
\n9. Should have good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
\n10. Should be willing to travel if required.<\/p>\n
