Role: Data Warehouse Development Team lead
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and implement technical vision for client project
2. Own overall project architecture and technical delivery with solution architect
3. Assist in requirements gathering and data analysis as needed
4. Estimate work effort and assist the Project Manager with task planning and LOE (level of
effort) estimates
5. Data warehouse architecture and ETL design
6. Provide technical leadership and oversight of a project development team
7. Expert level guidance for building & maintaining SQL procedures and ETL processes
8. Interact with client on regular basis
9. Review work product of others for compliance with development standards
10. Provide guidance and mentoring in database development best practices
11. Review technical documentation
12. Manage and mentor a team of up to 10 developers in a matrix organization
Position Requirements
„X 5 + years of experience in database technology
„X 3+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
„X Leadership experience ¡V should have led teams for at least 1 yrs
„X In depth Hands On experience with multi terabyte data warehousing, ETL and BI
„X Experience in building at least one data warehouse end to end
„X Strong business understanding of technology solutions applications developed
„X Expert level in-depth experience with stored procedures, SQLs and scripting and automation
of jobs
„X Proficiency with error handling and reconciliation and incremental data loads
„X Experience working with the database triggers, packages, procedures and functions
„X Ability to understand source systems, data dependencies, interfaces, integration, ETL, data
integration and reconciliation
„X Good communication skills interacting with business users, executives, and technologists.
„X Strong written, presentation and communication skills
„h BE / BTech graduates with first class
