Sales Associate, Bangalore


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Sales Manager and will work with our global team and is responsible for the following primary duties:
Provide consultative sales support to business partners (resellers)
Assist assigned partners in closing sales opportunities
Drive performance of business partners to meet or exceed program metrics, goals and objectives
Expand relationships and identify opportunities with current resellers to aggressively grow sales volume
Document all interactions in
Communicate and implement marketing programs & product updates with business partners
Become a trusted consultant and product expert to named accounts
Responsible for territory quota by growing business partner sales
Demonstrates knowledge of SaaS and technology
Develop and execute a business plan to exceed the assigned revenue target
Maintain regular communication with manager(s) and team
Manage sales pipeline as well as work collaboratively to ensure sales targets are met
Perform necessary customer service duties to exceed client and partner expectations
Handle issues and escalations

Required Experience, Skills and Education:
Direct or Channel sales (reseller) experience required
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of required technology
Strong background in direct and/or channel/partner account management and development (revenue based with partner relationships)
Execute, manage and document partner lifecycle activities within a CRM system, Database experiencea plus.
A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas within Channel Management Structure
0 to 2 years of outbound call center experience or equivalent
High level of interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
CRM program experience a plus (, Siebel etc.)
Proficiency in the use of email and navigation within the internet
High level of business writing skills
Personal drive, energy, enthusiasm, and can do attitude
Proficient in use of MS Office suite products (Excel, Word, etc)
Bachelors degree preferred and/or equivalent technology related experience, coursework or certifications
